Kitchen fit

Measure the appliance and its operating space

Measure the width and depth available for the toaster, then compare those directions with the manufacturer’s published body dimensions. Packaging dimensions and an unlabelled length measurement are not substitutes for a known body axis.

Body size is only the first check. You also need the clearances in the instructions, room for the cord and plug, access to the crumb tray and a suitable operating position. A width match does not approve an enclosed space or establish what bread fits the slots.

The examples below illustrate the documented body-size boundaries. Read the model review for the source, dimensions and operating checks before choosing.

Maximum published body width

A width limit compares your entered maximum only with the reviewed model's published outside body width; it adds no clearance, and an unknown width cannot pass.

With earlier models included and two slices selected, an 11.9-inch body-width cap excludes T2707S because its exact page lists a 12-inch body width; this is not clearance.

At a 12-inch cap under the same earlier-inclusive two-slice answers, T2707S enters at its exact listed body width; neither number establishes working clearance.

Maximum published body depth

A depth limit compares only the published outside body depth; it does not account for overhead clearance, cord route, loading space, crumb-tray access or an unknown depth.

With earlier models included and two slices selected, a 6.9-inch maximum body-depth cap excludes TR3500SD because its exact table lists 7.0 inches; the current-reference 22721 remains inside at its published 6.2-inch depth.

CPT-122 width boundary below the published body size

With earlier models included, two slices, Bagel, Defrost, a 10.9-inch maximum outside width and a 6.5-inch maximum mapped body depth, no reviewed configuration in this library meets the full combination; the CPT-122's listed 11-inch body width is over the cap.

The reviewed set has no documented two-slice, Bagel-and-Defrost configuration within both these body limits. This library result does not prove that no other toaster exists.

CPT-122 at the 11-inch body-width boundary

With earlier models included, two slices, Bagel, Defrost, an 11-inch maximum outside width and a 6.5-inch maximum mapped body depth, the reviewed CPT-122 is the one documented match in this library.

CPT-122 depth boundary below the mapped body length

With earlier models included, two slices, Bagel, Defrost, an 11-inch maximum outside width and a 6.4-inch maximum mapped body depth, no reviewed configuration in this library meets the full combination; the CPT-122's mapped body depth is 6.5 inches.

This reviewed library contains no documented arrangement meeting both the control requirements and these 11-by-6.4-inch body ceilings; the CPT-122 exceeds the depth cap by one tenth inch. This does not establish that no alternative toaster exists.

Earlier Hamilton Beach 22790 width boundary

At 6.9 inches, the first valid tenth-inch width ceiling that reaches the 6.83-inch 22702 body admits it; this is not operating clearance.

Earlier Hamilton Beach 22790 depth boundary

With earlier models included, two slices selected and an 11.1-inch body-depth cap, 22702 is excluded because its exact page lists 11.17 inches; the 22217 remains a documented in-library alternative. The exact 22790 is inside at 11.06 inches.

At an 11.2-inch earlier-inclusive two-slice depth ceiling, 22702 passes at 11.17 inches and 22790 at 11.06 inches; body depth is not a clearance allowance.

two-slice controls within 6.8 by 11.1 inches

With earlier models excluded, two slices, Bagel and Defrost, and 6.8-by-11.1-inch body caps, four configurations match, including Proctor Silex 22660/22661 at 6.7 by 10.4 inches; 22794/22794G and 22796 also pass. Body limits do not prove clearance or food fit.

With earlier models excluded, two slices, Bagel and Defrost required, a 6.9-inch width cap and an 11.0-inch depth cap, Proctor Silex 22660/22661 is the one reviewed match at its exact 6.7-by-10.4-inch body size; 22782 remains outside at 11.1 inches deep. This is not clearance.

22791 and digital 22792 are just outside a 7.0-inch width cap

With earlier models included, two slices and dedicated Bagel and Defrost controls selected, plus a 24-inch depth ceiling, a 7.0-inch width cap excludes both 22791 and digital-display 22792 because each exact page lists a 7.09-inch body width; 22790 remains a documented in-library example at 6.88 inches. These are outside-body checks, not clearance or food-fit evidence.

Both earlier Hamilton Beach bodies enter at the 7.1-inch width step

Raising only the width cap to 7.1 inches admits both 22791 and digital-display 22792 at their exact 7.09-inch published body widths while earlier models, two slices, Bagel, Defrost and the 24-inch depth ceiling remain fixed; this outside-body screen is not clearance. Their controls and page-linked guides differ: the 22791 has a manual shade dial/T87 guide and 22792 a digital setting display/T103 guide.

Both earlier Hamilton Beach bodies are just beyond an 11.0-inch depth cap

With earlier models, two slices, Bagel and Defrost required and body width held to 24 inches, an 11.0-inch depth cap excludes both 22791 and digital-display 22792 at their published 11.02-inch depths; Breville BTA735 remains an in-library match under these same selected conditions. Body depth is not safe counter clearance.

Both earlier Hamilton Beach bodies enter at the 11.1-inch depth step

Raising only the body-depth cap to 11.1 inches is the first tenth-inch step that admits both 22791 and digital-display 22792 at their exact 11.02-inch published body depths, while earlier status, two-slice capacity, Bagel, Defrost and a 24-inch width ceiling remain fixed; this is not clearance. Both control requirements and body limits together

With earlier models excluded, requiring two slices, documented Bagel and Defrost controls, and body caps of 6.7 by 10.4 inches yields one reviewed result: Proctor Silex 22660 White / 22661 Red. Its buttons are selected separately after cycle start; this match does not establish a combined sequence, slot fit, or working clearance.

One tenth below the Proctor Silex body-width limit

At a 6.6-by-10.4-inch body cap with earlier models excluded and two slices, Bagel and Defrost required, no reviewed configuration passes all conditions: Proctor Silex 22660/22661 are 6.7 inches wide. This body-only result does not describe every toaster.

The exact 6.7-inch outside width exceeds the 6.6-inch ceiling, so this model does not match the selected two-slice Bagel/Defrost and depth combination.

One tenth below the Proctor Silex body-depth limit

At a 6.7-by-10.3-inch body cap with earlier models excluded and two slices, Bagel and Defrost required, no reviewed configuration passes all conditions: Proctor Silex 22660/22661 are 10.4 inches deep. This body screen is not rear-tray clearance.

The exact 10.4-inch outside body depth exceeds the 10.3-inch ceiling, so this model does not match the selected two-slice Bagel/Defrost and width combination.

Four-slice pair controls with both outside-body limits

Decision: With earlier models excluded, four slices, separate pair controls, a 10.9-inch width limit and a 10.5-inch depth limit selected, two reviewed configurations remain: 24997F and archive-listed 24633G. The 24214PS and 24215G are excluded at 11 inches wide.

Decision: Raising only the width cap to 11.0 inches while keeping earlier=no, four slices, pair controls and 10.5-inch depth adds white 24214PS and black 24215G to the five-model set with CPT-435P1, 24997F and archive-listed 24633G.

Decision: With width held to 11.0 inches but depth reduced to 10.4 inches, 24997F and archive-listed 24633G remain the two four-slice pair-control matches; the 24214PS and 24215G bodies exceed this depth cap at 10.5 inches.

Decision: With earlier models included, four slices, separate pair controls and 24.0-inch width and depth caps, 30 configurations match; 24610 and 24622 still do not pass because neither exact model has published body dimensions. The cap is not clearance.
